He kept trying to get the guy to say that Rove had something to do with his firing..but the guy wouldn't bite.

Chrissy did go on...later in the show...to posit his theory that the Pres. did this today..because the war in Iraq is going so badly...that he wants the country's attention on a court fight with Congress...and not on the disastrous war.

He even suggested that since Pres. Bush knows that Gonzalez is not popular, even with some Republicans..that he doesn't mind putting Gonzalez out to take heat from Congress..just so long as American pays attention to that instead of the war in Iraq...

Of course.. Chrissy still says this is all ROVE's doing...LOL

Well, he is almost right on one thing : Dems are going to put too much effort into this "firing" nonsense, and after they lose this particular fight without "getting" Rove and/or Gonzales, it's going to be another "big time" letdown for their rabid nutroots...

Dems would do better agreeing to getting the documents and private "fire-side" chats with the staff and "move on", but Dems always had more hate than sense, and this one is going to bite them in the arse.

Serendipitous - yes, but will be sweet nonetheless. This will be like a lemonade made from lemons that Alberto harvested by himself.

In reading the transcript of President Bush's speech, there was one line that caught my eye:

"we will also release all White House documents and emails involving direct communications with the Justice Department or any other outside person, including members of Congress and their staff, related to this issue."

This is MAJOR !! The public will soon see what the Dems have been hiding.
