He cannot ignore Congress, and he can't shut them up. He refutes them at every turn, but it is ignored by the MSM and many conservatives.

Don't tell me about who I supported. I voted a straight Republican ticket for the last several elections. If you want to blame someone for the Democrats winning, go find someone else. I've certainly done more than my share of Republican supporting. I'm getting tired of the liberals and the RINOs here trying to point the finger at the conservatives and pass the blame to them. For context, the GOP did get its base out last November -- as strong as 2002 and 2004.
We lost the independents by a margin of 59-41, and with it the House and Senate.
