I just threw away my latest solicitation for cash from the Republican National Committee. They don't seem to get it. I'm not upset because the Republicans have been too conservative. I'm alienated because they have become clones of the Democrats, trying to outspend them using our tax money, and caving in to every Democrat "demand". The Republicans are fake capitalists and the Democrats are lunatic socialists. Some choice we have!

President Bush needs to get out more ... none of us out here care about the "prosecutor controversy."

The GOP needs to shake off the Beltway malaise and quit letting the old media set the agenda.

Nu? So what are we in the New Media doing about it?

He doesn't want or need your respect after all the crap you've spewed.

and now no guts.

You are full of it. You might try waiting for the press conference. He has more guts in his little finger than the rest of the nation combined.

We are the conservative morons that let the Dems win and put the AG in this position in case you forgot.

The timing is indeed strange...he's never made an announcement at this hour. Did they say what kind of address and if he'd be taking questions from the DB's?

I agree that Bush might say (some of) the right things. But I'd be surprised if he says them very well -- either memorably, or with the aggressiveness that's called for in this latest crisis.

Lets not only point out the firing of 93 U.S. D.A.s by Clinton in his first days, but also he fired 30 additional D.A.s during his 8 years tearing this Country apart! THIRTY of HIS HANDPICKED Appointees.

Let's hope POTUS has the sense to stand by his man. To not do so will doom Bush to lame duck status -- It will just continue on to the next scalp.

Drudge headline states Tancredo saying it is time for Gonzales to "move on".

He can win back respect he has lost for his total failure to stand up to his political enemies. We still support him for his stand on the War on Terror. What good is winning the War on Terror overseas if we allow the Democrats to wage a similar political War on Terror at home? It's time for him to stand up and stop trying to be nice to the Democrats. He needs to slap them down.

I don't think we will "win" the WOT. Sooner or later, Bush will cave in to the dems.

I do not think that the President should care about a hysterical knee jerk reactionary person like you. Please do not support him, it is an insult for him and for all of us who support him.

Bwahahahahhahahaha to all you GW doubters - HE WILL NOT BE ANNOUNCING THE RESIGNATION OF GONZALEZ! He is standing by the AG!

And he calls a press conf to do it?

I'll bet Pres. Bush does NOT go on the offensive like they should have done from the beginning.

He'll not come out and say anything to the effect that the Pres. has the power to fire the US attorneys anytime he wants for any reason.

But he will say "mistakes were made"....
