"Probably going to announce the resignation of AG Gonzales, and apologize profusely to the Democrats."

The camera angle will have to be shot from the floor because he'll be wearing knee-pads.

IF Gonzo goes, it kills two birds with one stone:

Of course the real reason Gonzo is going is because of the BP agents Ramos-Compean kangaroo court debacle and subsequent fix, but THAT won't be mentioned.

Thus with Gonzo gone, any investigation indicting several aiders and abetters to the Ramos-Compean frame up and falsified records and accomplces will be stuffed and sealed for the next 100 years.

My only questiion is what happens to Johnny Sutton.

"You'll notice this announcement was made AFTER Rush Limbaugh is off the air.

And I'd be surprised if he's back on the air tomorrow.

"Time to forget about the Bush Administration and worry about 2008."

Do you know how much MORE damage to the Republic can be done in until then??

Why is that?

Expect it to be weak... Bush will probably give the Socialist Democrats more Red meat. I wonder who they are going to call on next?

It's always possible. But I think they're just getting through the day at this point. Running out the clock until Jan. 20, '09. Screw the party, screw the base, and -- don't screw, exactly, but don't go to the mat for -- anyone in the administration who gets in trouble.

Bush has no back bone. He is not the President I voted for in 2004. The guy is selling out the conservatives along with the Republican party...

Who is the hell is your choice of a strong leader? Tancredo? GW is standing by Gonzalez and Tancredo has already surrendered and wants him gone. GW is a strong leader surrounded by a bunch of ungrateul unloyal whiners, many here on FR.

I think if you take a step back, you will see the fundamental difference between "attack of the voters" and "attack of the democrats."

President Bush (with the willing and genuine support of Rummy himself) read the election as a referendum on the war, and that the American public was asking for change. Replacing Rumsfeld (and for that matter Abazaid as well) was a symbol of that the President had heard the message and was willing to try something different. Note that the goals have not changed...just the route we are taking to achieve them. That may not be a bad thing, honestly. (And I'm a HUGE Rummy fan).

THIS on the other hand is clearly a political move on the part of the President's political opponents. While the President understands that he answers to the legislative branch to some extent, he does not view them with the same respect he does the American Public.

The average Joe has no idea what this is about (nothing) and doesn't care anyway. Having said that, I hope he's not going to apologize for this but I fear he's going to do just that. I hope to heck I'm wrong.

You feel completely sold out? OK. But will criticizing him in every situation help? Will that somehow make up for it.

Oh, and by the way, do you mean to say that he has sold out conservatives on EVERYTHING, or on SOMETHINGS? Compare, issue by issue with Kerry, and then say on how many things would you have been better off with Kerry in the White House.

Its been awhile since I can remember. Besides a couple of judges that got in, its been since the Swift Vets and election of 2004 since we did any pushing back.

The 22nd Amendment appealed would have had us a longer Ronald Reagan and a longer Bill Clinton though. I truly believe both would have been reelected again. One is good and the other not so much. That is my only negative on that issue.

Hey Bush Bot,

Bush is a freaking Liberal with no backbone. Rules of Engagement in Iraq are insane, the boarders, our language, our culture.... The out of control spending... The caving into the Socialist.... I am tired of having a Commander in Chief with no balls. No way in hell would I ever vote for him again! Keep in mind I voted for him in 2000 and 2004.

Here W is caving to the leftist in congress and the so called main stream media. Who is going to be feed next?
