It amazes me how far down the sewer the GOP has gone to even consider a candidate like Giuliani. By all accounts he should be running on the other side. Heck even the Dems have candidates that take more conservative stands than Giuliani does. No way he wins an election anyways. Won't get the Christian vote due to his pro-abortion views. Won't get the vote from those of us who actually believe in the constitution, especially those of us who hold the 2nd Amendment as sacred which it is. Nope no chance. Only good from this is that the GOP will go down in flames in 08 and hopefully regroup and get back to real conservative values and candidates.

Welcome to FR! The socialists in the Republican and Democrat parties think alike and are therefore essentially one party. It would be more effective for Conservatives to distinguish themselves from the socialist Republicans by forming their own party. Doing so would restore the two party system.
