Well, the fact that he's likable is the primary concern of those who hate him because voters like to vote for candidates they like and they're more likely to overlook the likable candidate's flaws.
Of course he only lead Hillary in likeability by 1 point, which is within the margin of error. But I agree, likeability is an importan asset. I think Reagan's likeability was off the chart.
I think the real news was how far back McCain was -- if people consider Hillary significantly more likeable than McCain, he is in real trouble.
