That is exactly right.
Climate Change allows them so much more elbow room for fact fudging. But I wonder if the average person out there is willing to go along with a shift in definition after the original global warming was so long to take in the public mind.

My bet is that Global Warming as a phrase will have to disappear. But you can't use Climate Change because then you might head back to the 1500 year cycle which you can't stop and will naturally occur. There needs to be a new catch phase to help Al Gore and the boys survive. Global must appear somewhere in the phase because you have to show a connection to your poor neighbors in Africa who are counting on your carbon tax dollars to help prop up their lousy economy.
