Dear Christian, please think about taking a brush-up course on critical thinking. In your very obvious rush to be a famous newspaper writer, you have managed to equate people who exercise their Second Amendment rights with people who molest children. I somehow doubt you really think those activities are equal.

Nor did you manage to disguise your anti-gun agenda and your utter contempt for Virginians very well.

I think the Roanoke Times has made a mistake in employing a person with your brief experience of life -- and government -- in a position of responsibility. It might have been better had you started out writing obituaries or working a police beat in order to learn how the real world operates, before allowing your juvenile and ill-considered opinions on the Constitution to appear in print.

Aren't there any adult editors at that paper? Is the publisher a complete cypher? In the future please try to think these things out before you type into your laptop.
