Many were angered by her use of the "f-word".Anyone unfamiliar with this story would assume that the "f-word" was the four letter one, not "faggot". Nothing like putting things in the worst possible light.

My band covers "American Idiot" by Green Day, but I have taken the liberty of changing a couple of lines. Instead of "maybe I'm the faggot American", I sing "baby I'm not a faggot American". I think I'll put extra emphasis on "faggot", in honor of Ann.
