Well, I was on Sean's side in that argument. Sean was talking about non-Catholics when he said that birth control is the lesser of two evils for them.
The priest was a bit rigid and cold. Sean was right to point out that men who boff little boys (as per the HUGE sex scandal in the Catholic Church) have lost a bit of their moral edge when speaking about sexual ethics.
Here in our Diocese the Bishop is closing Catholic schools left and right, and selling the properties, to pay an enormous sum--in the millions--to victims of priestly sexual abuse.
And, despite all the handwringing and all the promises, the abuses are still going on at an unprecedented rate.
You are either with the children or with the priest/ pedophiles.
