It's not a question of race, it's question of integrity and policy, just like everyone else.
"It's not a question of race, it's question of integrity and policy, just like everyone else".
...integrity and policy have nothing to do with it with the average American. We have become so vaccuous and self-serving that all that matters is lip service, best hair, cutest, best speaker etc. And best speaker doesn't mean, best message. Obama has a commanding presence but when he speaks it's meaningless garble. To the average American he's Superman. "Wow, Does he speak good"! Oprah dictates who women will vote for and they'll be the deciding factor. They're the ones that'll get us all in a heap of trouble. They're the ones that'll vote for Hillary.
I agree. What's weird is that there are actually people who plan on voting for him only because he's black, because he "deserves a break" or whatever. If he's good, he'll be good. But it's so weird for people to vote for or against him just because of his color.
Same with Hilary, people think that because there was never a woman president before, they should vote for her because women deserve a chance, when she would make a horrible president. (If they want a woman so bad, why not elect Rice?)
"It's not a question of race, it's question of integrity and policy, just like everyone else."
The point of the above story is to point out that there are many Americans who obviously aren't ready to elect a black president. Historically speaking, it doesn't look particularly promising . . .
