Lazarus Ping!
WTF?
There's all sorts of dead people runnin' around ...
My thoughts as well. Debunking James Cameron is one thing but this is out there.
I am curious as to how long these dead people are dead before they are resurrected. I would also like to know the method of resurrection. I guess this article is a lead in to "buy the book."
Oh, just stop it.
Ok.
The article says photos and street addresses.
I want to see photos and street addresses.
And death certificates. I want to see death certificates.
Once I have seen these things, I will take them (trust me, I will; or rather, I will dispatch people with this information), and I (or they) will go to the families of these people who were resurrected. We will talk to the resurrected, film them, talk to their families, etc.
We'll look at the death certificates and talk with the doctors. And we'll talk with the funeral homes too.
Medicine resurrects the dead every day in emergency rooms. Sometimes, it resurrects the brain dead even after an hour of death, in a particular case.
If there are really people out there who have been pronounced dead, given a death certificate, medical care has ceased, and they've been transferred to the morgue for burial, I want to actually see the evidence he's talking about.
One case is all that is needed to prove it, but because of the possibility of fraud, I want the addresses, photos and death certificates, of THREE.
That's all I ask.
Should be easy.
Should be a piece of cake, really, a snap of the fingers.
I have the resources to ensure a THOROUGH investigation (you have no idea how thorough), and I assure you that if they are true, the megaphone will be ON and the whole world will be called to rejoice.
So, what do you say?
Three names. Three addresses. Three death certificates. In the Anglosphere or Francophonia. That's all I ask.
Thanks.
I just don't think the jerk and his movie are worth much air time.
Jim Rutz has been writing articles about reports of miraculous "resurrections" in Christian communities worldwide and is given a forum by WorldNetDaily since as far as I can remember.
I notice that most of his reports are from non-Western countries and from places far from medical centers.
My main beef with his articles is he relies heavily on eyewitness accounts ( mostly from remote places where medical evidence of deaths and subsequent resurrections cannot be gathered ).
It's called a defibrillator.
I'm with you. I am a Christian and I believe that God can perform miracles, including resurrection. However, I also know that death is a process and nowadays with all the technology we can often literally view the many levels of death that occur. Many of us have had relatives that have "died" and even some of us know people, such as my aunt, who not only "died" and was resuscitated but who also had what is now called a NDE. So, unless these people were dead like Jesus and in the tomb for 3 days, I'd be very skeptical of any supposed documented resurrection. Again, not that I won't believe it but that the very nature of a miracle is that it is not common.
I guess it is time to break out the zombie guns and crank out some extra ammo on the Dillon.
WND.
Years ago my husband and son went to see a Christian magician and he showed how a lot of these miracles were done in many of these third world countries. Many of them are really just magic, ala the kind of David Copperfield, and anyone who's been to one of his shows (like me) would SWEAR he's really levitating or doing all those things. Eyewitness accounts are very deceptive. That's why Jesus tells us that people who believe without seeing are in better shape than those who must see to believe. It's not so simple.

"The Meaning of Life."
Normally, I have a rule against tolerating the song, "Every Sperm is Sacred," but I'll make an exception... :^D
Your question reminds me of the story Jesus told regarding the rich man in hell who wanted Jesus to send someone from the grave to his brothers, so they would believe and not end up where he was; and Jesus told him that even if one comes back from the grave (as Jesus did with His body, to prove His power), those predisposed to unbelief will remain unbelievers. But that's okay because God does raise some from the dead, for the edification of His Church and adding to the saved.
