Since burning the flag is considered free speech - well, then, ANY speech is acceptable, IMO.

Actions speak louder than words - so any word is far less an offense than burning our flag.

Buring the flag, protesting ROTC and military recruiters on campus, teaching 5th graders about gay sex, calling infantacide "choice" and yet we are all supposed to be horrified by Annie.
