Come on now. It wasn't stupid. At worst it may have been badly timed. That's it!

I've seen the clip on her Edwards remarks three times. Each viewing convinces me she was making another of her famous edgy quips. Like I said, her criticism of Rudy was lost in all the hubbub and that was unfortunate.

However, I'm not about to defend John Edwards and throw Ann Coulter to the wolves over this. Some conservatives are acting outraged in true PC form, just like the liberals behave.

It was stupid for being as poorly timed as possible. To do this at CPAC is just about unforgiveable. If she said this on a talk show or somewhere else it wouldn't even matter to me all that much. At CPAC with all of our '08 candidates speaking from the same stage on the same day. Yes, that matters to me! And she is a flaming idiot for what she did.
