Grammer brought the subject up several times, once that I know of on Leno. I don't know how his former drug problems would play out in a Senate run.
But I like Kelsy and I love the idea of Thompson running.
Run Fred, Run.

Come on now. No one on this thread has said they wouldn't support Thompson in the general. Why do you have to open what could (hopefully) be old wounds on this thread?
To: STARWISE
I know who Thompson is and I remember him as a TN Senator a few years ago, but I don't know anything about his voting record on critical issues. What is his position on domestic issues such as right to life, same-sex "marriage", gun control, taxes, etc? And what is his position on the WOT? I tend to think that he would support Bush's policy of taking the fight to our enemies instead of waiting for them to hit us at home again, but I don't really have any evidence for that.
I don't want to mistake his tough guy film actor persona for his actual political stance, and that would be easy to do.

John Glenn lost any claim to hero status with that behavior, but I wanted Fred to slap him around a lot more.

LOL.
I know he left the Senate when his daughter was dying or did die, I can't remember which order; his only child.

Well, doesn't he just look like a President?
And it would give us another interesting lead for the Day in the Life thread!
