A_D, we bought a couple of blankets that plug into the cigarette lighter. I "tested" the blankets on a long road trip recenty and they work beautifully. Wanted to spread the word these blankets are available and could be a lifesaver in frigid winter weather conditions alone.....

Hi MD. My only worry about ANYTHING battery powered is what happens when he batteries go dead. Other than that, those blankets sound like they could come in handy. If you don't mind me asking (as I'm dirt poor these days), what's the price tag?
