Actually it's the Rudycrats who are the "single-issue" people. Their whole shtick is "Rudy can keep us safe" and "Rudy can beat Hillary." OK, that's 2 issues, but they have no evidence for either; Rudy has no expertise whatsoever on national defense, and no electoral history beyond a certain very peculiar city.
I actually do think he could win, and probably by a big margin, but don't feel like getting into the reasons now.
However, I'm gunning for a better option...
Third issue - taxes
Fourth issue - Roberts like judges
Just keeping your list up to date.
BTW I am not decided for Rudy. I just updated the list of positives.
The negatives aren't discussed on the BashRudy threads. His biggest liability is that in his public life he's a jerk. I've heard from those who think this is good, but think about how much work Team Clinton had to do to limit their damage control.
He can work for my vote and we'll see. I am not voting for McCain if I can help it and Romney may be a nice guy and a good administrator but he's powerless when dealing with other elected officials. And the lumberjack shirts he wore during Homeland Security alerts - he just seemed silly. I like him, but I don't want him as my President.
We'll see as I said.
