Our troops conquered Iraq. It's army cut and run alright. They couldn't surrender fast enough. Saddam was captured all alone hiding in a hell hole.

Let's get this straight. It was the Iraqi army and it's leader Saddam that cut and run.

Now can we accomplish our secondary goal of establishing a democracy in Iraq? From what I have read and learned about muslims since this war in Iraq, my optimism is fading.

Our troops are now in a precarious situation. Because they don't know who is friend and who is foe, and there are no borders. How would anyone who wishes to stay the course, like to be stuck in that crap like our troops? I know I wouldn't.

Yes because unless you support destroying nations that don't represent a threat to us only to put actual terrorists into power under the auspices of 'spreading democracy' you can't really be a good 'conservative' (i.e. Republican) can you?

George Bush told us we were going to war to get rid of Saddam and verify no WMDs. Now that the original objectives have been accomplished George Bush tells us now we are there to support the freedom loving people of Iraq (I want to barf). Does this make George Bush a "bait and switch" Republican?
