>>>Recommending a "Rudy" forum. This is getting out of hand.

I find the hate-Rudy vitriol to be equally distasteful. Mind you, I don't agree with his every position, but he's being needlessly excoriated around here.

Greetings, man who coined "he-man ethanol hating gang"!

I am not supporting Rudy in any way shape or form for POTUS. I don't hate the guy but would rather he serve at CIA or Defense than have anyting to do with domestic law enforcement.

It seems like we are willing to compromise anything just to get someone in there with an R by their name these days.

I posted my comment because of the sheer volume of Rudy postings. Perhaps an offshoot FreeRudy.com site ought to pop up?

I don't hate Rudy at all........ I just reject any assertion that he is a conservative. You can't say you are "conservative", and support abortion and gay marriage. Impossible. Those are 2 issues that people who believe in God, and have morals feel very strongly about, and should never give in to.

I don't know how many times I have been dissed because I am a RINO, I am almost 50 and never pulled a (D) lever in my lifetime. This site is for conservatives now, not Republicans.

Yeah, but I keep gittin' told that he's a conservative and that's sort of like peeing on my boot and telling me it's raining.

When I get treated that I'm so stupid I don't know when somebody is peeing on my boot it gets my dander up. Why not present him for what he is, a member of the Rockefeller country club republican cadre and stop trying to cast him as some sort of conservative which he isn't by any standard; either fiscally, constitutionally or by size of goobermint?

I might even consider voting for him in the general election but he's spinning (or is it triangulating?) about "what he is" so much it's raising serious questions in my mind about his character.

I don't hate Rudy, but I'll never vote for him. He's no more a Conservative than Hillary is.

Needlessly excoriated? So you think we should just accept this liberal, socialist, communist leaning so called conservative and not say a word, not try to educate the idiots who actually believe this RINO traitor to be a conservative? The man whose policies on illegal immigration were a big contributor to 9/11? The man who used the diaster he helped create to paint himself as a hero? That guy? We needlessley excoriate that man?

The way you get out the word on candidates is to let people know the facts about them, if that is needlessly excoriating them, then so be it.

There have been very few lies told about this man here. The most damning evidence of Rudy's liberalism is his own words and deeds.

Oh, it's very needful. Especially when his drummers are trying to reinvent him as a conservative.

I agree it does get vitriolic. The trouble is that Rudy supporters frequently come on like the primary was held last week--it wasn't. Excuse me--but there are those of us who want a choice in the primaries. This declaration of victory over a year out smacks of ignorant arrogance.

No one knows the outcome this far out. If you want proof of that read about the election of Jimmy Carter. In late '75 early '76 it was clear to everyone that Jerry Brown would carry the democratic nomination; clear to everyone except the abysmal Jimmy Carter.
