Well, I believe that if you compromise with liberals or for liberal issues you get liberalism. I don't see liberals compromising for more freedom, only less. Compromising for less freedom is failure not success. I'd rather fight for what's right than surrender to (compromise with) what's evil.
Compromise on political issues like taxes, spending, budgets, economic matters, government fiscal or political policy is one thing, but compromise on issues pertaining to the basic and fundamental rights to life and liberty are quite another. Seems like some people are in an awful hurry to write off our must precious rights as meaningless trifles. I thought conservatives had more spunk than that.

As I already pointed out to you, I wasn't talking about compromising with liberals.
But unless you want to lose everything you've spent years working for, you, too, are going to have to compromise on something sooner or later.

But, when you trumpet against gay-rights and privacy rights you run the risk of being categorized on the far right lunatic fringe of the political spectrum. And, believe me, there are plenty of agitators just waiting to assail your assault on other's rights as nothing more than Westboro Lite. It will make your previous support of Pat Buchanan and Alan Keyes look like reasoned dialog when they start going for the SPLC quotations.
I am giving you this warning to prevent HRC from getting her material from the far right to attack whatever carcass the Republicans manage to let live...
You are simply being irresponsible when you throw the baby out with the bathwater, for a meaningless slogan.
