Mr. Robinson, I would like to concur with youngjim. I am extremely disappointed in the tone this site has taken over the last few months. I have always been amazed at how fair this place has been, and how open it was to many conservative and libertarian viewpoints. That has changed and folks are running in packs intent on destroying, rather than debating, the opposition. To call 68grunt a liberal is embarrassing and way over the top.
I realize that politics is hardball. But destroying coalitions and allowing this kind of behavior before this thing really even gets started is exceptionally dangerous. Discussing any of these possible candidate in an echo chamber will simply weaken us all and I am seeing many good posters, some of whom I disagree heartily with at times, are disappearing leaving only flame wars and name calling.
We all expect this place to be rough and tumble during primary season, but I would hope you would lead by example and not send it further into chaos and irrelevancy.
Thank you for your kindness, but I cannot complain. JR lets my posts stand and I'm glad most of the rebuttal posts stand, also.
Those who promote conservatives have nothing to be worried about. Promote a liberal and you'll learn how "rough and tumble" this place can be. And you'll deserve it.
