"I don't understand why JimRob feels the criticism of Bush for spending like a socialist is somehow illegitimate."

Who said I did? You people are beginning to believe your own rhetoric.

A million times I've said criticize Bush and the Republicans on their policies all day long where criticism is due, but don't come in here like a sopped out DUh troll bashing them with leftist propaganda and smear.

If you want to say that spending is too high, I will agree with you all day long. Or that we should be cutting rather than expanding federal healthcare and education programs, etc, etc. I'm 100% behind cutting taxes and government spending to the bone--and then some.

Also 100% behind cutting government regulation, red tape, entire departments, agencies and volumes and volumes of useless and unconstitutional law and or treaties not in our best interests.

That said, I'm also 100% behind backing the war on terror, wherever it may lead. I'm also 100% behind a complete turnover in the judiciary within the next decade or two and replacing as many liberal activist judges as possible with conservative judges, therefore, I am 100% behind reelecting President Bush and increasing the majority in both houses of Congress by as many seats as humanly possible.

I'm sick and tired of my life being controlled by the feminist/abortionist/homosexualist/gungrabbing/American hating cowardly liberal, thus I am 100% behind removing as many of their evil carcasses as possible from our government and keeping them out!

All of the above means that I will not tolerate for long anyone posting garbage that is designed or will lead to promoting or campaigning for Democrats, likewise any plans proposed to dump Bush or dump Republicans to the point we lose the majority.

Free Republic was never intended to be a liberal debating society. It has a purpose and goals. The long term goal is to promote the cause of conservatism and to work for a return to the constitutionally limited republican form of government as established by our founders. If these are not your goals then I don't want you here. I am defending my first amendment right to freedom of association. I only want to associate myself and FR with people who will work with me to achieve my goals.

And I feel these goals will never be achieved until we first break the liberal stranglehold on the judiciary and the rest of our government. And this cannot possibly happen if we swap back and forth between Democrats and Republicans every four or eight years. The only thing that this causes is a further leftward drift. Both sides have to cater to the middle to get elected. Every time the democrats get in, the leftists get deeper entrenched. Then the Republicans come in for a short time and can't get much done, so they move left to try to draw more of the center vote. And then the conservatives get pissed and throw the bums out, and the cycle continues.

The only way to break this cycle is for the Republicans to hold on to the majority for at least three or more full eight year cycles in a row. We need several cycles to appoint and confirm as many conservative judges as possible as the old liberals die off or retire. As long as we leave the liberal activist judges in place, we're gonna suffer under their unconstitutional rulings that are destroying our families, our youth, our society and our liberty. We can't turn it around until a generation or so of our young are brought up without the liberal agenda being force fed down their throats at every turn.

There is no other way that I can see short of armed rebellion. And you all know that that's one of the reasons for FR. To head this off and reverse the trend before violence is the only possible alternative.

We've lost a lot over the last century or so, but one thing we have left and plenty of it is our vote. Use it don't lose it. And don't waste it either. Don't fall for the Ross Perot or Patrick J. Buchanan pied piper bs. All that does is elect Clintons... and damn near elected a Gore.

I thank God for President Bush! We could've had gore.

Long live the Republic!

Yet you defend those here who call this guy "treaonous" simply because he can see a purpose for someone like Rudy Giuliani:

You seem to have lost your vision.

I've never called sessions any names whatsoever and never would. My vision is exactly the same. One hundred percent pro life. That's why I object to the Republican party dumping the pro life plank from its platform by nominating a pro abortionist candidate for president.

Abortionist - n. One who supports abortion.
