ARE YOU GUYS STILL CHEWING ON THIS? It is reasonable for a Republican candidate to disagree with 20% of the conservative platform. RUDY is a 40% dissenter at best. Duncan Hunter would be a good choice, but only people that pay attention know who he is. The only TRUE conservative is John McCain.

You know, at one time I liked McCain, prior to the 2000 election season. then he started to look to me like a loose cannon. I think it was Wayne LaPierre of the NRA that John McCain attacked on one the the sunday news shows that set me off. I remember sending his campaign a scathing email denouncing him and telling him I would never, ever vote for him. So now I can't. I appreciate his support for Bush and the Iraq war, but I just don't believe him to be sane.
