It will. It has before. But you are dead on right about taking the pot off the burner. One year is several lifetimes in politics. We are a LONG way from 2008.
I'm fearful it won't either. This is even worse thatn the Shciavo battles or the Buchanan wars.

The venom here is awful, and since it's nearly a year before anyone gets to cast a vote, I don't see it getting better.
It makes me sick. This was a great forum and we're in a circular firing squad.
Go look at the stats for FR over the past year - continuous decline. These threads will only exacerbate the situation.
