It is the repeated posting of the block post that I was addressing ... there is a much more graphic representation of the partial birth killing methodology that gets posted on abortion thread occasions, rightfully so.

>>John McCain is a goner in my estimation.<<
I believe you are correct. In 2000 McCain was the media darling here in NH because of their hatred for Bush. He was the "rock-star candidate" of the primary. Now the media has no such motivation and they have moved this type of coverage to Obama. McCain will not go anywhere without the media hype he received in 2000, no matter how hard he kisses Ted Kennedy's splotchy white buttocks.

Revealing his true nature, watch for McCain to attack the President more as the McCain popularity sinks. Such a shallow little man must not be allowed to head the most powerful position in the world.

Yes, I understand, I think. The problem is that those to whom it is directed have tougher skins and hearts than you.

I have a gun. Anyone who can get a permit can buy a gun. I love shooting guns and take my 15 year old stepdaughter and Wife to the shooting range for them to enjoy it too.
Why all this paranoia about the 2nd amendment? Who is saying you can not own a gun?
Limiting some types of guns is ok with me. Just because you limit some types doesn't mean you limit all guns. Gun ownership is guaranteed in the constitution. That can't and wont be taken away unless the Constitution is amended and that takes ratification by the states. Forget it. Guns will never be taken away.
Sitting home and letting Hillary win over a problem that doesn't exist is nuts.

Yeah, I kinda doubted that my plea at the start of this thread to keep it polite and rational would last long.
But at least we made 2000 posts. That must mean something #;>)

Limiting some types of guns is ok with me. Which ones? Handguns? So-called "assault weapons"? (which aren't, BTW)
Why all this paranoia about the 2nd amendment?
Where exactly is the paranoia?

I think all that time in prison affected McCain's mind.
As it would affect probably just about anyone whether they cooperated with the enemy or not.
McCain lost my support over the Campaign Finance Reform debacle and his breakaway from many Republican ideals to side with Maim Stream Democrat radicals.
In my estimation Maim Stream Radical Democrats are like Muslim Terrorists having no use for anyone who does not agree 100% with their jihadists ideals.
Democrat left wing radicals like some fringe fundamentalists radical Republicans would rather see this great country bite the dust just to prove a selfish point (my way or the highway).
Come November 2008 I will support the candidate that will be most beneficial for America.
John McCain in my eyes is not that person.
You or me or anyone else cannot trust a politician who turns on his base time and again.
Just my lowly opinion.

Most if not all the anti Rudy comments mention gun control as the reason.
Forget anyone like Rominey or Hunter beating Hillary. Mcclain is a nut.
Who else is there?

To: Sir Francis Dashwood
Neither does it say you can own any weapon available either. Machine guns didn't exist in the late 1700's.
I guess some could argue a 105mm Holitzer would be legal since it has a barrel.
How about a nuke??
We can't let Hillary get elected.
John
To: Diggity
Neither does it say you can own any weapon available either. It does not make a distinction, so the government is prohibited from doing so as well...
The straw man, slippery slope argument for gun grabber apologists puts you in the same camp as Mrs. Clinton.
