I've read all of them. Here's a good rule of thumb, if it takes you 500 words to try and convince people someone's a "conservative" they're not.

Every article is a rehash of a basic theme, Rudy cleaned up the streets of NYC, cut a few taxes and generally appeared to be somewhat to the right of the typical Marxist city governance. It does not make him a conservative.

There is no such thing as "respect" conservatism, just like we all found out there is no such thing as "compassionate" conservatism. If it needs a modifier, it aint conservatism.

It's also interesting that the author of the FrontPage article also authored a recent article on illegal immigration that is 180 degrees from Rudy's position.
http://frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=23398 The one hallmark of all Rudy supporters that claim they are "conservative" is that they say they don't agree with Rudy on the issues; abortion, illegal aliens, second amendment, gay rights, etc., but that they support him anyway. This is very strange and can only be explained by the, sometimes expressed, position that ideology and principle are not important, not if we can get "our guy" (read Republican) in office regardless of whether "our guy" is against virtually every position we hold, including those expressed in the Republican platform.
Like I said, strange.
