The first amendment gives you the freedom to speak your mind. It does not give you the freedom from the repercussions of what you say.
I reiterate..."Aren't you glad that the 1st Amendment is understood here on FR and people are zealous in it's defense? Maybe the clarity of 2A defenders is justified..."

I guess I've seen to many here sarcastically say something similar, as though the first amendment offers immunity from the reactions of others.
