I watch all those unsolved mystery shows about the bible, and the scholars they interview are always coming up with information they claim is in the bible that I have never seen. We have to remember the bible has been translated over and over. No telling what it really said in its pure form. Perhaps these scholars have access to old texts that were once part of the early bible.
Those are programs produced by atheists or heretics. Their entire point is to destroy traditional orthodox Christianity. I have a friend who watches them. I've had to spend many hours correcting the bad and flaky ideas they have peddled to him.
It is not difficult to learn about the authenticity and relative pedigree of the two major manuscript families though one has to do some reading. But don't expect the truth from the TV. They're just there to sell the commercials and to expose people to liberal and heretical ideas that corrode orthodox Christianity.

The people I see are priests/theologians at Oxford, Harvard, the Vatican etc. They are not heretics.
Go read he history of the early church and how crooked the early popes were. No telling what the real truth is.
The bible was put together by men for political gain and we will never know what the real truth is because of the tampering.

"Those are programs produced by atheists or heretics."
You are S
ooooooooooooooooooo correct.
During one show called mysteries of the bible a so-called Bible scholar
even claimed that Adam had a wife before Eve.
They got a divorce because the woman (Lilith) supposedly was a feminist.
See:
http://www.gotquestions.org/Lillith.html They should change their name to mysteries of pagan wicca.
