I think it is interesting that the film "300" is coming to theaters real soon...

It may be a bit more "pop culture-ish" seeings how it resembles the movie "Sin City" in the set direction and other visual factors...

And I wouldn't be surprised if that term you used went missing from the screenplay...

Perhaps it won't. This article from Victor Davis Hanson suggests that many of the classic quotes from the historic accounts of the battle at Thermopylae are in the Frank Miller version of the story.

The movie very closely follows the book (director followed it page-by-page, showing it to his visual crew saying "make this scene"). The "come and get them" scene is a major point in the book; would be absurd to leave that out.

I suspect you've not seen the Frank Miller *graphic novel* that served as both the film's screenplay and storyboards.

Yeah, that Molôn Labé phrase shows up in the movie....
