Agreed.

No one should be trying to change anyone's opinion.

What!:). What's the point of this forum, what's the point of campagning, what's the point of debate?

More then anything we should be trying to change the minds of people who support someone who supports abortion, gun control, and gay rights.

We have the responsibility to present facts and to try to reach people and encourage then to make informed decisions. . No one IMO should try to force their opinion on another though. I might tell someone I disagree with them because....but I would never tell them that if you vote for so-in-so you have just damned our country. I am sick and tired of being told if I don't vote for who the party decides, then I'm voting for Hilary. She may win. I pray she doesn't but I won't compromise my vote for someone who "can beat her" if their values go against my principals.
