When opposition within his own party start quoting hit pieces by the leftest media to try and trash Rudy, then I know that panic has set in. As far as how much opposition there is, check out today's Real Clear Politics' National Poll Averages:

Guiliani 35.4%
McCain 20.5%
Romney 7.5%
Gingrich 10.8%

Not bad for a guy who wore a dress at a NYC Press Sponsored Charity Roast in 2000.

BTW, whose your pristine candidate in this race? Where does he stand in the Real Clear Politics national poll?

I have not decided on a candidate at this early point in the campaign. It will not be Giuliani, however, under any circumstances.
