Well, I learned that Ron Paul and Obama/Murtha/et al supporters have two things in common:

1. Appeasement/surrender in Iraq and

2. a hatred of Israel and a desire to abandon it to the Arabs (which is probably just plain-ole Pat Buchanon anti-semetism, but maybe not).

I used to have great sympathy for small-l libertarians, at least as idealists.

Less so, now.

If cutting off funding for Israel meant the United States State Department would stop trying to run their nation for them they yea I would support it. I'm pro-Israel knowing all nations who bless her are blessed and all who curse her are cursed. Now let me ask you this. Do you think it wise for our government to try and force feed Israel peace agreements? I don't. Remember this is Biblical Israel will sign a 7 year peace treaty with the Antichrist. So yea I get a tad bid unnerved when we try to imposed peace and our will upon her. When we left her alone she solved a lot of our M.E. problems for us.
