Used to fire a beautiful Mossberg 12 gauge as a kid. Hell of a kick on that thing but man did it put a tight pattern on a target.

I taught myself to bird hunt with a 16 gage break over single shot, 1916 vintage if I remember correct. I think it was a Browning. Later I moved up to Dad's 'sweet 16'.
I was pretty good with a 45lb re-curve bow too :-)
