His self-parody in what you linked to, just simply, wasn't funny; it tried way too hard.
If IowaHawk's review is so overbearing in its attempt to be funny, why were you unable to detect its sarcasm until I pointed it out to you?
It was stupidly written. And you, a faithful fan of Iowahawk thought it was funny.
See, that's what you don't get. If I go to a site, and I'm going without a bias, I can more readily assess whatever it is I'm viewing/reading. David Frum's piece panning the 1/2 hour news Hour was obvious. Iowahawk's was not. I don't know the dude, I shouldn't HAVE to know his works or his history in order to assess whether or not a piece is good or not. On reading, it was clear Iowahawk was going gaga, over the top. I shouldn't have to work that hard to fathom whether or not he's being sarcastic. A good writer makes that obvious. Iowahawk's take on it was not good nor obvious.
And, lastly, you have got to be no friend of Iowahawk. No one in their right mind wishing to support a "pal" would insult others as you have. You hid behind Iowahawk in order to insult.
That makes you downright cowardly.
