I do not like to make this generalization, as some black Americans I have met are better neighbors, friends, and as or more intelligent than most white Americans I have met.

That being said, most black Americans vote for the stupidest people and believe the dumbest things. I can not believe anything else.

I agree - I think it'll be Richardson.

Yes, I would think she'd go with Richardson. The one reason she might prefer Warner would be if she really wants to target VA's electoral votes.

City Black American voting habits are 90% democratic. However, this does not mean they are unified on a candidate.

They really believed Algore. They are only warm to Hillary. They really like BillyJeff, but are cool to JFKerry.

Obama is not one of them and they know it.

I accept your logic. Still they (the 90%) vote in a racist formation.

I said it months ago, and still believe that the plan has been all along for him to be her running mate. Think about it... it you vote against them you're both racist AND against women. That's a powerful ticket for the Dems.

2ndClassCitizen here is a little more dignified information on the subject.

Obama, Clinton Battle For African-American Endorsements

Feb. 18 - Presidential hopefuls Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., are battling for endorsements from African-American leaders as they canvass key primary states.

As Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., heads to South Carolina this weekend for the first time as a presidential candidate, he steps right into a Dixie briar patch of racial politics.

Up to 50 percent of South Carolina's Democratic primary voters are African-American, so the Palmetto State is a state the Obama campaign is targeting. But can Obama count on black voters to vote for a black candidate? Will his race affect the decision-making process of white voters?
