A tactical retreat in the face of a surging enemy means living to fight another day (see Dunkirk, 1940).
A "do not give up an inch" strategy in the face of a surging enemy can mean catastrophe. (see Stalingrad, 1943).
Well, you can tuck tail and run if you wish, but I will be taking the fight directly to the enemy. And that's both here at home and wherever they rear their evil, ugly heads around the world!
You don't seem to understand, if you keep pushing Rudy for president and he gets the nomination, according to Rudy supporters, hildabeast will win. Why do you keep pushing Rudy if you know that's how it will play out?
Dear Al Simmons,
"A tactical retreat in the face of a surging enemy means living to fight another day (see Dunkirk, 1940)."
There is a difference between tactical retreat and abject surrender.
