If the Rudy opponents want to make any headway, they've got to change their tactics. This kind of feverish, over-the-top, tabloid, screaming, "RUDY WEARS A DRESS" stuff simply makes them look...well, moonbat.

I remember how our side lost the argument during the Clinton impeachment years - it was precisely because this sort of spittle-spewing hysteria is a major turnoff to most people.

And they're definitely turning people off.

Which, of course, makes me increasingly optimistic about Giuliani's chances. His most vocal opposition is overwhelmingly self-marginalizing.

Opposition to Giuliani is centered around a bunch of extreme fringe zealots. Good riddance to them. I welcome their exit from the party.
