I hope you are right about Hillary -- but remember how she won the NY Senate seat. That was a long shot by some estimations too.

So far she is running way ahead of everyone.

I can only hope you are right.

New York is one of the most liberal states in the Union so it is no a measure what so ever how Hillary will appeal to the rest of country except of course the "very blue" states. Hillary Clinton cannot win any state that Gore or Kerry did not win in 2000 or 2002, and she may lose one or two of the states that Gore and Kerry won.

Howard Dean was the number 1 in the democrats polls until the evening of Iowa caucus where he totally crushed and burned.
