The House and Senate, like the UN, have become irrelevant. They do not stand on their principles because they obviously have none. When they were in the leadership, look what they did. They had worthless leadership who capitulated on everything. They seem to have lost their courage of conviction the minute they passed over the state line of DC.

Our President has been standing almost alone on every issue. We the People elected him twice and want him to continue prosecuting this war. Not the House or the Senate. His own party and many of you reading this post have turned their backs are ready to accept defeat. NOT ME! I am ashamed of their performance. Brownback is one of my senators and he has been a real disappointment! Mr. Newt has my vote if he runs. If not, I will pick the best leader for the times. That is a war president. I don’t care what he’s done in the past with respect to his personal life. Hopefully it will make him a better leader. I want a MAN with balls enough to stand against the Congress when he is right.

I think the worst are the ten senators who did not bother to show up. I think they should have their pay docked one month until they take their duty seriously. I really get sick of every vote having someone absent. Damn I wish I could just not show up for work whenever I wanted. It is a shame that they can't be fired or be charged with Unauthorized Absence like most people and definitely the military members.
