Sorry but not only am I not convinced at all that Rudy isn't a shoe-in, but I'm not even convinced that you believe he won't get the nod. NO matter what ahppens in 2008, America will not come to and end. Nominating Rudy would move the GOP leftward even more then its been under Bush. Electing Hillary or Rudy would give us conservatives, 4-8 years of on the outside looking in.

First, however, that scenario has to play out and right now, I don't see it happening.
