More Americans than not are against a sudden withdrawl.
Americans by and large want to see progress. The MSM keeps them from seeing good news, and they are left with the illusion that the whole country is in shambles.
How much reporting have you seen over the last few days that mention all the calls by dems for more troops, when the president was listening to the generals that said they did not want anymore? Now that he has a new man that wants a surge into Baghdad they are all suddenly for staying the course, but no one is calling them on it.
I'd like to think you're right, but I think in terms of popular support for the war in Iraq, the public has lost its patience and confidence in the admin.
I really think if we had a national referendum today, a strong majority would vote to pull out quickly, and the results be damned.
I agree that the media had depicted Iraq poorly, but the admin has done a terrible job in communicating the good news, too. Plenty of responsibility to go around.
Don't let the trolls on this thread tell you otherwise.
