It's already coming up. Think of the parents with teenage sons who are sitting at the dinner table discussing what the recruiter said to their kids, today. How does a father an mother who love their son tell that child that risking their life for this country is a noble cause, instead of looking at what the Left and the media have done to undermine our nation's cause in order to gain political power. Chances are very high that in a few months we will have surrendered Iraq to terrorist forces, and squandered the lives of thousands of American heroes, all so the Democrats can ensure their own political power.
So...tell your son to enlist? Tell your son to go to OTS/OCS, or the academy? One thing's for sure, it's not going to be as easy for a loving parent to support such a decision by their child as it was a few years ago.
