I live just outside of Ric Keller's district in FLA. I was kinda stunned he was going to vote FOR this "non=binding" resolution". I thought maybe his district included Tallahassee or Gainsville ( the 2 BIG colleges with some possible libs) but it doesn't.
Keller's district includes part of Orlando, Ocala and Eustis, witch is a lot of RURAL country.
I have seen him speak on CSPAN before, and he seemed to be fairly conservative. Somebody must have some pretty wild and damaging pics or video of him for him to vote like he did, and especially his main "reason" for voting yes on this "treason".
Think you've heard it all from the dems of why theyare voting "yes"??
From Keller's OWN web site, and the actual transcript of what he said on the House floor, is his "analogy of why he voted with the dems:
"Let me give you an analogy. Imagine that you have a next door neighbor who refuses to mow his lawn, and the weeds are up to his waist. You mow his lawn for him every single week. The neighbor never says thank you, he hates you, and sometimes he takes out a gun and shoots at you.
Under these circumstances, would you keep mowing his lawn forever? Would you send even more of your family members over to mow his lawn? Or, would you say to him, you better start mowing your own lawn or theres going to be serious consequences for you?"
End of Ric's marvelous analogy.
Hmmmm...so Ric thinks they are too lazy to mow their lawn, so maybe if we just bought the Iraqi's some lawn mowers, Ric would have voted against this traitorous crap??
IMHO,if I can help it, I'm gonna put as much "Round-Up" on his chances for another term in the House as I can get my hands on.....
In his speech at AEI Pres. Bush said ...they will come here AGAIN. I wish that word "again" had been used every time a reference has been mad to the fact that, unlike Vietnam, this time the enemy will follow us home.
