...also, anyone with a high school level understanding of Astronomy can tell you that the Earth goes through a fourty-one thousand year cycle on it's axis (slight wobble in it's axis) and this matches up with changes in the climate.. We are coming to the end of one of these cycles now.. and this point there is always warming..
Last time we ended one of these cycles, the Sahara was a tropical rain forest.. Warming means more atmospheric water vapor > more rain > more fertile planet.. Cooling results in drier air > less rain > famine and desert growths.
