You cannot have a government that does not have values. The only question is whether those values represent the majority of the people, Christians, or the minority, the anti-Christians.

Well, if you believe the information we are routinely fed, America is more conservative than liberal. The problem is that the liberals are running everything and the conservative majority have jobs, responsibilities and obligations that prevent us from taking to the streets to protest the crappy, corrupt, leftist government that we have. Couple that with the fact that, IMO, most of us believe that the current situation is what it is and there is little or nothing we can do about it, and we have the status quo. In short, government has failed and continues to fail to do the people's work and we feel stuck. Options??

< i>...Options??..."

Every free nation in the world today owes its liberty either directly or indirectly to Jesus Christ and His disciples who were the first to create a free nation.

Now those liberties are under assault and are being eroded because Chrstian values are under assault. Christians ahev become sheep.

Christians must stop being afraid of being Christians and elect politicans who will also behave like, and promote Christian values and morality. (not use government to impose a Christian religion, that is different)

Christians think they violate the 1st Amendment if they demand laws that respect Christianity. So while Christians back away from fgoevrnment, the anti-Christians have taken charge of the government and are using it to establish their own church of the secular humanist.

The federal government has become a state-sponsored church itself, and it requires you conform to their morality or suffer severe consequences (denied contracts, federal funding, ostracized, and sued by the ACLU...)

"Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, Religion and Morality are indispensible" -- George Washington

"When these men attack religious opinions, they obey the dictates of their passions to the prejudice of their interests. Despotism may govern without faith, but liberty cannot. Religion is much more necessary in the republic which they set forth in glowing colors than in the monarchy which they attack; and it is more needed in democratic republics than in any others. How is it possible that society should escape destruction if the moral tie be not strengthened in proportion as the political tie is relaxed? and what can be done with a people which is its own master, if it be not submissive to the Divinity?" -- Alexis de Tocqueville

" The unbelievers of Europe attack the Christians as their political opponents, rather than as their religious adversaries; they hate the Christian religion as the opinion of a party, much more than as an error of belief; and they reject the clergy less because they are the representatives of the Divinity than because they are the allies of authority." -- Alexis de Tocqueville

So called Christians must stop being door mats and avoiding politics. They must not only vote for Christian politicians, but throw them out when they cast anti-Christian immoral votes (votes that restrict freedom and liberty are by nature anti-christian...)

Liberty cannot exist without a preponderance of Christian values.

It never has and never will. Liberty is a uniquely Christian value in governance.
