Thanks for the ping, dinasour. I stopped eating regular peanut butter when it all started tasting too sweet--lots of added sugar. That led me to Crazy Richard's peanut butter. Look at the ingredients--Peanuts. Now look at the other labels. Their crunchy is really terrific.
You have to stir it up the first time but keep it in the fridge.
My sympathies to all those suffering this debilitating illness. It's very important to stay hydrated. Watch you little ones, especially.

We had two jars of the stuff with the 2111 code number, one almost empty jar and another full jar. No more Peter Pan for a long time.

I just called my son and told him to let that baby get anywhere near any peanut butter.
One of my office mates just found this particular lot number in his cabinet, as well.

Thank you for the ping! I have some Great Value peanut butter, and the code starts with these numbers! Ack! I've only used it to make suet cakes for the wild birds. I'm going to throw them all out! Glad you pinged me....

I don't know about you gals, but I love a good PB&S sammich. We should suggest that as a menu item for the Cheesiest Restaurant in Houston.

My brother and sister-in-law in Atlanta had 4 jars of PB, and my mother in Wake Forest had 1 jar of PB. This is huge!

Just check our jar lid. Looks like we'll be mailing it in......Maybe it's the reason dad and I have been "under the weather".......Thanks for the ping.
To: dinasour
Looks like I didn't proof-read very well--I meant your little ones. I can't imagine the shock of looking at one of these jars and seeing those numbers on top! Scary.

Take those jars of peanut butter and donate 'em to your local mosque.

I just love that "Allergy Warning--contains Peanuts" Imagine that, peanut butter contains peanuts. Gee, it thought it was made from cows.

they should discard it.howzabout I take it back to my grocer and he reimburses for two full unopened jars
Its ludicrous to think the consumer should absorb the cost

I apologise for the Ping List abuse, but this may be more serious than your typical food scare. You have nothing to apologize for, FRiend. I pinged everyone I know to this thread (including those on my CT and FoxFan ping lists). This is important stuff... It's shocking how many FReepers and friends/relatives of FReepers have been affected by this contaminated peanut butter.

Did they find a peanut in it?
To: nascarnation
Most "store brand" items came off the same line as the "name brand" sitting on the shelf right next to it and very likely came out of the same vat. Just a different label.
