Being opposed to Rudy means opponents want Hillary to win.

No. It means (if they oppose him in the general election) they will help her win, de facto. Of course they may not "want" this predictable outcome of their actions, which just means they are in denial.

And a third repeat of talking point #11.

It is the responsibility of the party leaders to promote candidates who can hold the base together. Pushing a guy at the far left of the party is completely irresponsible given the history of the GOP losing when it drifts leftwards.

No. Pushing Rudy on us in the Primaries is what will help HRC win. Again, you aren't going to pull the true believers away from a (D) but you will lose the support of conservatives (to a third party or apathy) if you propose a RINO.
