PRINCETON, NJ -- As former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani inches closer to a formal declaration of his candidacy for the 2008 Republican nomination for president, the challenge he faces among Republicans with his support of abortion rights and same-sex civil unions is clear in a recent USA Today/Gallup Poll.
Giuliani is extraordinarily well-liked and respected by the American public. He also ties with or leads Arizona Sen. John McCain as the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination in recent Gallup polls. At the same time, his views on abortion and same-sex civil unions are unknown to most rank and file Republicans. Once informed of Giuliani's positions, a sizable minority of Republicans say they would reconsider their support for the otherwise popular and well-respected Republican luminary.

LOL! I love the way you word things!
Thank you ~ it's really Norm's.
I needed a hit counter for my profile page, it seemed like an easy one to use and it was free .. and Yes, pure and simple is a good message , unlike the cluttered message of some who write for profit and not for the beauty of the message.
With regard to the mother/father going to hell. If they choose to behave in that manner, and if there is hell, that is where they wind up.
"I know I made the right choice"
Neatly tucked away in all your "rightous talk" lies the above little nugget. It told me all I needed to know about your views.
Its not a CHOICE, its a BABY.
Right out of the dem play book isnt it?
I am so glad you are around to clue me in.
And here I thought I gave birth to three little choices.
I am the proud woman of a grandchoice, too.
Take your soapbox and shove it.
bwahahaha....i guess Jesus would post that too. LOL
Go have your meltdown elsewhere.
Hey take a chill pill Lady.
noones on a soap box. I just get sick of hearing that (from liberals I know, no less).
calling me self rightous? sanctimoneous? LOL If you knew me youd realize how ridiculous that statement is!
Maybe you should take your own advise and "judge not" :-)
You sound too much like a mother-in-law.
You are a riot!
Youve totally judged me and you dont even know me.
then make a deduction about my personality based on three tiny posts.
but you wont judge ppl who have abortions or lead a homosexual lifestyle, cuz ya know Jesus wouldnt do that.
ROTFLMBO.
the only one "preachin' it" is you darlin.
Goodnite:-)
Start a pissing contest to make yourself feel better.
I am sure this is just what the therapist ordered.
G'night, Pilate.
Even though her father is the most sickening man I have ever met, I valued my baby's life. I love my baby.
Federal law says I had a choice. I knew in my heart I had what God wanted...a baby.
If you want to vent your rage over abortion, go progtest in front of an abortion clinic. Just don't blow one up. Some just go there to get the pregnancy test done and then go home and celebrate that they have a new life growing inside of them.
It looks more like it is you that behaved like the all knowing omnipotent one.
Another poster also determined that I am against abortion and that I believe it should be illegal. This person had to come up with a way of asking so that being able to comprehend my thought patterns made sense.
With your posts, you chose to try to conduct a battle between my ears to get me to think what I already thought. This is because you are doing battle between your own ears in a less than constructive way.
If it really bothers you that much, why don't you get a job at an abortion clinic and convince as many as you can to choose adoption. That way, you are putting the battle between the ears of the person that already has that same battle going on?
As long as the law states that it is a choice, then it is a choice.
Because it is a baby, the law should be changed. Please put your boundless energy towards changing the law and not changing the mind of someone that already thinks the law should be changed.
If you try attacking the problem and not people in general, you won't get attacked back.
Well, for whatever reason you chose, I'm glad you did.
Altho the term "Green Kids" sends chills up my spine. ";^)
It's bad enough 'rainbows' have been co-opted by the left ~ now they want 'green!'
Oh well ~ They won't go near my red, white & blue.
Okay, Ill try and do both your posts.
One, I did not attack you. I made a statement. It was your choice wether to even respond to me. When you did, you told me to "stuff it" then called me self rightous and sanctimonious.
I then pointed out that your responses were inconsistent with your tagline.
Secondly I am not screeching or screaming at anyone nor do i have "rage". AND Please enlighten me on how I behaved like the "all knowing, omnipotent one". Really, im curious!
I did not try and start a battle with you. How you got all this from such a little amount of posting is beyond me. Like I said practice what you preach and judge not, since your judgement skills appear to be lacking.
Are you sure you are not confusing me with someone else?
I guess I am confused as well, but I know how easily that can happen. I can be somewhat confusing when I post myself.
But i dont understand how you reconsile being prolife/against abortion, while also saying it should be the choice of the individual. you cannot be both prochoice and prolife.
A great deal of your posts are inconsistent from one to the other.
In an earlier post you claim that your daughters dad is doing his best to make your life miserable. you know about his life, his faith and it appears that you had and still have some type of relationship with him.
It also comes across that your daughter is young, yet you also state you have grandkids.
I am in no way saying that your claim of sexual assault isnt true,or discounting it in any way. just that your posting is very confusing.
Sexual assault is a horrid terrible thing to have to endure. Especially, if as I assume, it was someone you trusted.
At any rate. i didnt attack you nor do i wish to engage in any type of "Battle". I wish the best to you and yours.
I understand that currently there is the option to make a choice. Because that option exists, people will exercise that option. It is a tad late at that point and the fact that it is allowed by law is not something that enough people seriously consider.
I am really too tired this week to have a debate over a point that is moot for me.
As for my daughter's dad..he has done all he could to try to "Patty Hearst" me, but I have stronger convictions in that my battle is to get psychological and emotional abuse seen as crimes. This week he is playing the "silent treatment" game to stall custody proceedings. It is a shame he has no clue as to what due process can do and that many of his stupid moves may not lead to the police taking action, but it can come from elsewhere.
So my tagline was a challenge for most. It did get you thinking. Shall I change it back to Jawn Effin Qari - what a maroon or would you like the old tagline and my unusual relationship with the current president? Quoting Beavis and Buuthead isn't allowed here...
