I am very thankful for the Gideons every time I open a hotel drawer and find a Bible. Giving to them is a great way to spread the word. One of their programs, the Memorial Bible program, allows you to donate Bibles in memory of someone. It is a special way to say goodbye to a loved one or express sympathy.
I like to give Bible dedications to people who have 'everything' already. I've done it for retirements, for promotions, any occasion to honor someone. The Gideons even have special honor cards that they send me to
order more.
