What you're saying still fits with my (your) original burger example. I could then say that you still have other food options. While minor leagues are considered professional, they aren't televised nationally, which I would argue automatically excludes them from consideration.
This isn't about freedom - it's about the (possibly unlawful) restriction of the market. If it were a product you liked, you might understand it.
I did learn something, though. I didn't know underhanded artificial market control mechanisms are a "fleeting liberty that used to make this country great."
Fortunately for me, there isn't a single product on the market where I feel my right to possess it trumps its producers rights to distribute it in any way they see fit. So I'll never have to run to the government to petition them to use coercive force to make a producer do business with me.
